GWYBODAETH YN UNIG
Ein Blaenoriaethau Datblygu - Rhan 2
Yr wythnos hon, rydym yn parhau â'r sgwrs trwy rannu'r ail o'n pum nod strategol ar gyfer 2026–2027. Mae pob blaenoriaeth wedi'i llunio'n ofalus i gefnogi dysgu, lles a theimlad o berthyn ein plant ac rydym yn gyffrous i gymryd y cam nesaf ymlaen gyda'n gilydd.
Cryfhau Sgiliau Digidol a Dilyniant drwy (1) Weithredu Cerrig Milltir Digidol i arwain Asesu a Chynllunio mewn Dilyniant Da, (2) Gwella Gwahaniaethu Gweithgareddau Digidol, a (3) Darparu Hyfforddiant Pellach i Staff
Dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf, mae dysgu digidol wedi dod yn nodwedd gynyddol ddeinamig o fywyd ystafell ddosbarth yn Ysgol Panteg, gyda disgyblion yn dangos hyder, chwilfrydedd a chreadigrwydd wrth ymgysylltu â thechnoleg. Rydym wedi gweithio ar sawl elfen fel Codio a Deallusrwydd Artiffisial. Wrth i'r arfer hwn dyfu, felly hefyd y mae angen strwythur cliriach a mwy bwriadol sy'n sicrhau bod pob dysgwr yn profi taith ddigidol gydlynol a phriodol i ddatblygiad. Mae'r flaenoriaeth hon yn canolbwyntio ar gryfhau'r strwythur hwnnw trwy weithredu Cerrig Milltir Digidol, gwella gwahaniaethu o fewn gweithgareddau digidol a dyfnhau arbenigedd staff. Mae cyflwyno ein Cerrig Milltir Dysgu Digidol yn nodi cam sylweddol ymlaen wrth ddiffinio dilyniant. Bydd y cerrig milltir hyn yn mynegi, yn fanwl gywir, sut olwg sydd ar gymhwysedd digidol o drin dyfeisiau cynnar hyd at greu amlgyfrwng, rheoli data, cydweithio ar-lein a defnyddio offer â chymorth AI yn ddiogel ac yn feddylgar. Bydd y cerrig milltir hyn yn cael eu datblygu o'r Fframwaith Cymhwysedd Digidol a dogfennau arfer da eraill o Bartneriaeth LASIS a thu hwnt. Trwy ddefnyddio'r cerrig milltir hyn i arwain asesu a chynllunio, bydd staff yn gallu nodi mannau cychwyn yn gywir, olrhain cynnydd yn fwy manwl dros amser a dylunio dilyniannau dysgu sy'n meithrin rhuglder a hyder. Bydd gwella gwahaniaethu o fewn gweithgareddau digidol yn sicrhau bod disgyblion ym mhob cam (o'r rhai sy'n datblygu rheolaeth sylfaenol i'r rhai sy'n barod ar gyfer creu a datrys problemau mwy cymhleth) yn wynebu tasgau sy'n eu hymestyn yn briodol. Bydd hyn yn cefnogi annibyniaeth, creadigrwydd a datblygiad meddwl digidol o radd uwch. Bydd hyfforddiant staff pellach yn cryfhau cysondeb ac yn dyfnhau dealltwriaeth o sut i ymgorffori sgiliau digidol yn bwrpasol ar draws y cwricwlwm. Drwy alinio dysgu proffesiynol â'r Cerrig Milltir Digidol, rydym yn sicrhau nad yw cymhwysedd digidol yn llinyn ynysig ond yn rhan gydlynol, flaengar a chynhwysol o ddysgu bob dydd.

Mae rhagor o fanylion i’w gweld yn ein cynlluniau gweithredu datblygu llawn, yr wyf yn eu cynnwys isod, os hoffech chi ddysgu mwy amdanyn nhw:
Gyda phob blaenoriaeth a rannwn, rydym yn gobeithio sbarduno deialog ystyrlon a pherchnogaeth ar y cyd. Mae'r ail ffocws hwn yn cynnig cyfleoedd ffres i ddyfnhau ein harfer a chyfoethogi ein cymuned. Fel bob amser, rydym yn croesawu eich syniadau ac yn edrych ymlaen at y sgyrsiau y gallai eu hysbrydoli.

YEAR 2 TO 6
ACTION REQUIRED - REMINDER
School Council & Head Pupils Elections
On Thursday, 17th of September, pupils from Years 2 to 6 will take part in our annual pupil‑voice elections. Children may nominate themselves for one of our leadership panels: School Council, Eco Committee, Digital Wizards, Wellbeing Council, Philosophy Leaders, and Welsh Crew. Each class will elect two representatives for each group.
These panels give pupils a meaningful role in shaping school life, sharing their ideas, and contributing to areas such as wellbeing, technology, the environment, and the Welsh language. All interested pupils are encouraged to stand. Each child has received a short application pitch template to complete at home; these should be returned to class teachers by Wednesday, 16th of September.
For Year 6, we will also be electing our new Head Boys and Head Girls on the same day. These pupils act as ambassadors for the school, support staff at key events, and model leadership for younger children. Year 6 pupils wishing to stand should complete the Head Boy/Head Girl application form and hand it in by Wednesday, 16th of September.
We wish all pupils the very best as they prepare their pitches and applications.

Our Development Priorities - Part 2
This week, we continue the conversation by sharing the second of our five strategic aims for 2026–2027. Each priority has been carefully shaped to support our children’s learning, wellbeing, and sense of belonging and we’re excited to take the next step forward together.
Enhance Digital Skills and Progression by (1) Implementing Digital Milestones to guide Assessment and Well-Sequenced Planning, (2) Improving Differentiation of Digital Activities, and (3) Providing Further Staff Training
Over recent years, digital learning has become an increasingly dynamic feature of classroom life at Ysgol Panteg, with pupils demonstrating confidence, curiosity and creativity when engaging with technology. We've worked on multiple elements such as Coding and Artificial Intelligence. As this practice has grown, so too has the need for a clearer, more deliberate structure that ensures every learner experiences a coherent and developmentally appropriate digital journey. This priority focuses on strengthening that structure by implementing Digital Milestones, improving differentiation within digital activities and deepening staff expertise. The introduction of our Digital Learning Milestones marks a significant step forward in defining progression. These milestones will articulate, with precision, what digital competence looks like from early device handling through to multimedia creation, data management, online collaboration and the safe, thoughtful use of AI‑supported tools. These milestones will be developed from the Digital Competency Framework and other good practice documents from the LASIS Partnership and further afield. By using these milestones to guide assessment and planning, staff will be able to identify starting points accurately, track progress more forensically over time and design learning sequences that build fluency and confidence. Improving differentiation within digital activities will ensure that pupils at all stages (from those developing foundational control to those ready for more complex creation and problem‑solving) encounter tasks that stretch them appropriately. This will support independence, creativity and the development of higher‑order digital thinking. Further staff training will strengthen consistency and deepen understanding of how to embed digital skills purposefully across the curriculum. By aligning professional learning with the Digital Milestones, we ensure that digital competence is not an isolated strand but a coherent, progressive and inclusive part of everyday learning.

More detail can be found in our full development action plans which I include below should you want to discover in more detail:
With each priority we share, we hope to spark meaningful dialogue and collective ownership. This second focus offers fresh opportunities to deepen our practice and enrich our community. As always, we welcome your thoughts and look forward to the conversations it may inspire.
